My wife has seen a mink not far from our house and as a former mink trapper I just had to get a photo of it. We walked as carefully as we could but no, no mink to be seen. A bit disappointed we walked back and were very surprised when a field hare suddenly came running towards us! Usually they run away from you as quickly as they can but no, it came towards us in full speed and slowed down about 25 meters away from us, sat down and just took it very easy before it eventully looked at us and jumped into the bush.
A very special experience and a good example of what kind of surprises nature can give you when you keep your eyes and ears open!
