"Thermometer"

This "thermometer" is not from Svångemåla but I think it is so good that I would like to share it!  Unfortunately, it is in Swedish but with Google translate it should not be a problem :)

Poet's Daffodil ( Narcissus poeticus )

I am not sure about the English name of this flower but I like the above more than Pheasant's-eye Daffodil.

Rhubarb flowers are on their way.

Two very impressive buds are developing in our rhubarb jungle. It is already more than 15 cm long!

Meeting

They are all around us and we see them all the time but it is still a great experience to look a big, wild animal like this in the eyes and see who blinks first :)  As you can see, the moose did not win over the bear this time.

Western capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus)

For the first time ever, this bird sat in the middle of the road not far from Svångemåla.  It is a female Western capercaillie and is only to be found in old, untouched forests. I hope she can find a suitable male!
